Parer Painting is committed to environmentally friendly practices and solutions.
We comply with all environmental legislations, and have made the choice to use green waste management for all our paint, brushes, and equipment clean up and disposal. We also offer the use of green paints, that are low VOC, meaning less paint smell and less air pollution.
DULUX ENVIRO PAINTS
Dulux Australia has been at the forefront of developing environmentally responsible water-based paints, which have been replacing solvent-based paints since the 1960’s.
The reason this switch has been made is simple - the old solvent-based paints as they dried, released large quantities of the solvent into the atmosphere, contributing to pollution levels. Water-based paints on the other hand release mainly water vapour into the air, meaning they are considerably better for the environment, painters and for you!
Parer Painting users environmentally responsible paints wherever possible. The Dulux range of paints that meet these needs are: Professional Enviro2, Wash & Wear 101 Advanced, and Aquanamel, and the Eco Choice range.
These paint ranges offer low VOCs. This means they are lower in Volatile Organic Compounds, which results in less emissions and less odour!
Dulux has also been certified by the Greenhouse Friendly Program for both the Professional Enviro2 and Aquanamel ranges as carbon neutral paints!
So when you are considering your next paint job, think about whether you would be happy to have the Dulux Low VOC paints used at your place, which will benefit not only you, with less odours, but also the environment!

The Dulux EnviroWash System™ is an innovative, water-based treatment system that turns paint wash-out into clean water and inert solid waste. This allows for easy, safe and environmentally sound disposal.
Parer Painting uses the Dulux Envirowash System as a way to minimise the negative impact of our paint waste disposal. This system allows us to adhere to the industry EPA guidelines, as well as avoiding polluting Australia’s beautiful waterways.
We also employ the use of the Dulux Envirosolutions Waste Paint Hardner™, which converts unwanted paint* into solid waste which can be safely disposed of in domestic waste.
So as our client you can be confident that your paint job complies with all industry guidelines including environmentally sound paint disposal and clean up.
